Each year in October the retreat in Grayling draws women from all over Michigan. The keynote speakers are always excellent and there are several break-out sessions to choose from. This is an open meeting and all interested women may attend.
Every August we have a special service at Camp Pet-O-Sega. This year the weather was perfect for a picnic and baptism service.

Sunday School Ministries are an important part of Christian education. Our theme is "Make the Connection" reaching people, teaching people. Elections are held once a year to elect a number of positions to the Northern Michigan District Sunday School & Discipleship Ministries team. Our delegates are shown below.
This family has four wonderful little boys and this is the first girl! Will she be spoiled?

4th of July was a big event. We received a 1st place award for our float as well as 1st place in the antique catagory. Look at the fine tractor pulling our ark!
This year we entered our Noah's Ark in the parade and won first place for Most Original Float. We want to be part of our community!

Throughout the spring, fall, and winter our Wednesday night children's group learned how to practice the Fruits of the Spirit. Their end-of-year party was at Morgans Farm loving up on a new born baby goat.
The Alanson Church of the Nazarene recently hosted missionaries Don and Evie Gardner. The Gardner's serve in Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Kenya.
