CHICKEN DINNER FUNDRAISER
Bring the family for supper on Saturday, June 6, where there will be lots of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, salad, dessert, and drinks. Serving from 4:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.
MEMORIAL WEEK-END GYM SALE
The Alanson Church of the Nazarene food pantry volunteers are sponsoring a big gym sale on Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Proceeds go to buy groceries for the food pantry serving the community each Wednesday.
FOOD PANTRY/MINISTRIES BENEFIT DINNER
The community is invited to a Chicken Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, June 6, 4:30-7:00 p.m. The menu includes chicken, potatoes and gravy, vegtable, salad, beverages, and dessert.
CARAVAN AWARD CEREMONY
Twenty Caravan students, ranging in age from 4 to 12 years of age, will be recognized on Sunday, May 24, during the morning service. They have earned badges in nine areas of learning.
Community Good Friday Service Planned
Ten area churches are gathering for a combined 7:00 p.m. Good Friday service hosted by the Alanson Church of the Nazarene. Each church has a part in the service commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
SONG EVANGELIST PERFORMS EASTER SUNDAY MORNING...
Mark Murphy, nationally known song evangelist and friend of Northern Michigan, will present the Easter message in song at the Alanson Church of the Nazarene 10:45 a.m. Easter Sunday. There is a 9:45 a.m. light breakfast before the service. The community is cordially invited. Questions can be answered by calling the church at 231-548-5462.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Twenty-two Sunday School Ministries volunteers were recognized on Sunday, March 29, for their faithfullness to the Lord and the congregation. These people serve as children's teachers, adult facilitators, Caravan guides, and as Children's Church teachers.
