Ten area churches are gathering for a combined 7:00 p.m. Good Friday service hosted by the Alanson Church of the Nazarene. Each church has a part in the service commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Community Good Friday Service Planned
SONG EVANGELIST PERFORMS EASTER SUNDAY MORNING...
Mark Murphy, nationally known song evangelist and friend of Northern Michigan, will present the Easter message in song at the Alanson Church of the Nazarene 10:45 a.m. Easter Sunday. There is a 9:45 a.m. light breakfast before the service. The community is cordially invited. Questions can be answered by calling the church at 231-548-5462.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Twenty-two Sunday School Ministries volunteers were recognized on Sunday, March 29, for their faithfullness to the Lord and the congregation. These people serve as children's teachers, adult facilitators, Caravan guides, and as Children's Church teachers.

Nursery Volunteers
On February 22, 13 nursery volunteer attendants were recognized for their loving and nurturing service to our children.
Pantry Volunteer Recognition
35 individuals were recognized Sunday, February 15 for the selfless donation of their time to our food pantry. We serve the Alanson area and surrounding communities, supplying food and clothing.
Fifth Quarter Recognition
On January 25, the Alanson Church of the Nazarene recognized 12 individuals for their volunteer work with area youth in Fifth Quarter events. Youth come from Alanson and surrounding communities.
