Ruth Gregory
The Lord has been a part of my whole life. With gratitude to my parents, I have always known the Lord Jesus. He has brought me through the every day life challenges as well as several major crises. With the Lord's guidance and healing spirit, I am able to function and to live each day effectively for Him. Some of my current interests include researching, authoring, and publishing historical nonfiction books and being a valid presence in my grandchildrens' lives. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling.
After retiring from a successful career in education as an elementary teacher and later as a college instructor and Humanities Division Chair and then moving to Michigan to be with my husband Leroy, the Lord led me to the Alanson Church of the Nazarene. The congregation helped me to adjust to my new surroundings in the church and in the community. I asked the Lord to increase my circle of blessing for him, so He is using me as a Bible Study leader, prayer chain organizer, music assistant, and the administrative assistant to our two pastors. In these capacities, I am able to minister to many people who call the church office or who come to the Bible Study or to the church.
